About the Company
Mecha Systems Inc. (US) founded in 2022, builds computers, firmware and cloud software for building applications in the real world. These computers are programmable, powered by open ecosystem and primarily run open- source software, ensuring they are embeddable, multi-purpose and long- lasting. Our customers include K-12 students, hobbyists, creators and engineers. Our enterprise oferrings target OEMs, ISVs in the IoT, Industrial Automation and Robotics.

Mecha Comet
The Mecha Comet is a one of its kind handheld Modular Linux Computer. Using its magnetic snap interface, the Comet can work as a multipurpose device, such as a remote terminal using a keyboard extension, a game controller or a tinkering tool using a breakout extension or you could make your own robot out of it. The Comet has wide applications in education, DIY, robotics and industrial or home automation.
The Comet is powered by a 1.8 GHz ARM64 Quad-core processor, with 4 gigs of memory and 32 gigs of onboard storage (expandable). The operating system is powered by Mechanix OS, a custom Debian-based distro for Linux. The GUI is powered by our own open-source Mechanix Shell, making it among the few small-screen touch interfaces available today for Linux.
Comet was built over the past 3 years with a vision to create a versatile computing platform for building in the real-world, our target audience includes students, hobbyists, creatives and engineers.
